St. Thomas Preschool & Kindergarten is a premier early childhood education program that incorporates the teachings of the Catholic Church into our daily lesson plan and classroom routines. We believe that children are a gift from God and that early education should be relevant, meaningful, and fun!

We take a whole-child approach to early childhood education. Teachers, administrators, and support staff work together to meet the intellectual, social, behavioral, and emotional needs of each and every child we serve. We want children to be confident, express themselves, have good critical thinking skills, make good choices, experience a variety of art, music, religion, and math, develop friendships, and practice their love for God.

STPK students are provided with an intentional curriculum that supports their individual development and prepares them to be confident learners in their future educational experience. This is my 22nd year at St. Thomas Preschool and Kindergarten. I graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Child and Family Development. In 2006, I earned my Masters in Education, and I also have an Arizona Early Childhood Teaching Certificate. I have several years of teaching experience and have been the Director at St. Thomas Preschool and Kindergarten since 2005.
My husband works with the elite pararescue units at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and my daughter attends our local elementary school and is an active softball player. I am deeply committed to creating positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environments for teachers, staff, families, and children. My dedication to making St. Thomas Preschool and Kindergarten the premier early childhood education program in Tucson is unwavering, and I consider every family who joins our school to be an extension of my own.
